Bill Outlawing Anti-semitism Introduced in Uruguayan Congress

A bill making anti-Semitic agitation a penal offense has been introduced in the Chamber of Deputies by Antonio Richero and Julia Arevalo de Roche. It provides for imprisonment from three to 24 months for violators. The sponsors of the legislation pointed out that anti-Semitism and racialist propaganda menaced the country as a whole.
