The Bavarian Finance Ministry has allotted 250,000,000 marks ($60,500,000) for the indemnification of victims of Nazism in its budget draft for the 1962 fiscal year.
It was disclosed that 118,000 claims were still pending in Bavaria and that up to the end of 1960, the West German state had paid 956,000,000 marks ($241,000,000) in indemnification grants.
