Some 171,000,000 deutschemarks ($41,000,000) were paid out in 1960 by the Bavarian Indemnification Office to victims of nazism, bringing the total since 1948 to 956,000,000 deutschemarks ($220,440,000), it was announced here today. The greater part of the 118,000 claims still pending will have been processed by the end of 1962, the announcement said.
