Baruch Lanner was returned to prison in New Jersey to resume serving a seven-year sentence. Lanner, a rabbi who was a yeshiva high school principal and for many years a high-ranking leader in the Orthodox Union’s National Council of Synagogue Youth, had been sentenced in 2002 but served only a week of his sentence before being freed pending the outcome of his appeal.
