Mayor Thomas D’Alesandro, Jr., has officially proclaimed Tuesday, September 11 as “Hadassah Day,” in Baltimore. The Mayor’s proclamation pays tribute to the memory of Henrietta Szold, Baltimore-born founder of Hadassah, and to the many institutions and educational enterprises conducted by Hadassah.
