The Ministry of Defense is studying the requests made by thousands of Arabs from surrounding countries who are visiting the West Bank for the summer to permit them to stay. The Ministry said today it may grant such permission to those visitors who have relatives in the West Bank and who are not considered security risks. Several hundred visiting Arabs presently hold jobs in the West Bank.
Dozens of newly arrived immigrants in Israel from the Soviet Union are undergoing circumcision each month, according to the Minister for Religious Affairs, Dr. Zerach Warhaftig.
