As a result of the elections to the Central Students’ Council, the anti-Semitic student bodies obtained 64 seats against 31 seats obtained by the Jews and the democratic elements. The other seats in the council went to non-partisan groups.
This was a defeat for the anti-Semitic students. In the previous elections they had gained a majority of two-thirds in the Central Council.
