Aaron E. Norman of New York, merchant and philanthropist, died yesterday at his Summer home at the age of 77. His widow, a son — Edward A. Norman — a daughter and five sisters survive. He was formerly vice-president of Sears, Roebuck amp; Co.
In the last twenty years he had been active in Jewish philanthropies. He was president of the Home for Hebrew Infants in the Bronx, a member of the board of trustees of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies and a contributor to numerous charities.
