A Vietnamese-American prisoner in California who says he’s Jewish filed a lawsuit that could change the way states classify Jewish inmates. Viet Mike Ngo sued San Quentin prison, claiming the penitentiary primarily uses race to assign cell mates and endangers Jews by classifying them as “white” rather than “other,” according to J., the Jewish news weekly of Northern California.
