A senior Israeli diplomat who had contact with the Pentagon analyst suspected of passing classified documents to Israel denied any wrongdoing. Naor Gilon, the No. 2 diplomat at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, told the Ma’ariv newspaper that he did nothing inappropriate in his meetings with the analyst, Larry Franklin.
