A number of Zionists were arrested in Kamienetz-Podolsk, following tumultuous scenes which occurred in a concert hall, according to a report in the Yiddish Communist paper, “Der Stern” of Charkoff. The Kiev opera singer, Samaryn, sang a satirical song on the present international situation. A group of Zionists who were present protested. The police intervened and arrested the Zionists, according to “Der Stern.”

The paper states that Zionists throughout Russia are disturbing public meetings called for the purpose of propagating the Jewish agricultural settlement work. At a meeting in Nikolaeff, 1,000 Zionists who were present, disturbed the meeting, according to the paper.
