A new Web site offers a venue for mourners to share memories and information about their lost loved ones. Nichum.com will create an online memorial through its feature “Stories of Life,” which allows users to enter stories and memories about the departed. The site also allows for the sharing of funeral and shiva details and the posting of photos. Nichum means “comfort” in Hebrew. “Our hope is to not only make the logistics of the mourning period easier for the mourner, but also to serve as a place to honor the memory of a loved one through the posting of personal stories,” said Alex Kantrowitz, the site s founder. The Web site is free of charge for users.
