A monument to Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg was unveiled in Slovakia’s capital. Sunday’s ceremony in Bratislava was held in the courtyard of the city’s Jewish Museum and was organized by the International Council of Christians and Jews. The monument to Wallenberg, who saved tens of thousands of Jews from the Holocaust in wartime Hungary by providing them with false passports, will stand in the courtyard temporarily until a permanent home can be found in the center of Bratislava.
