A total of 40,535 members were enrolled by the Zionist Organization of America within the single month of October, more than double the number of 18,956 enlisted for the same month last year, according to an announcement today by the national headquarters of the Z.O.A. The membership of the Z.O.A. in the past fiscal year ending September 30, 1947, was over 200,000, exclusive of the membership of its affiliated and constituent organizations.
