About 400 persons are expected to attend the United Palestine Appeal dinner at the Brooklyn Jewish Center on Wednesday evening, April 17, Henry Seinfel, chairman of the dinner committee, announced. Louis Marshall, president of the American Jewish Committee, and Mayor Walker will be the principal speakers. Joseph Prensky is treasurer of the dinner committee and Joseph Goldberg is secretary.
The dinner will be the feature of the $100,000 campaign of the Eastern Parkway Division of the United Palestine Appeal. The drive in that section is headed by Rabbi Louis D. Gross. The other officers are Rabbi I. H. Levinthal, honorary chairman; Jacob Goell, honorary vice-chairman; Nathan D. Shapiro, Isidore Fein and Benjamin Plotle, vice-chairmen; Nathan Dvorkin, secretary, and Samuel Rottenberg, treasurer.
