The Palestine Government has granted permission for the shipment of 2,500 two-kilogram packages of matzohs to refugee rabbis in Russia, it was announced today by the Committee to Aid refugee Rabbis, which is headed by Chief Rabbi Herzog. The matzohs are intended for use on Passover.
Two-hundred and thirty-one immigrants arrived in Palestine during the week-end. Of them, 203 were from Yemen.
