Eighteen Jewish cadets will be commissioned as officers at graduating exercises next Sunday at the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval and the U.S. Air Force Academy. A 19th cadet was commissioned today as an ensign at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

The Military Academy at West Point will commission eight Jewish cadets as second lieutenants. The Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md., will commission six Jewish cadets as ensigns. The Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs will commission four Jewish cadets as second lieutenants. The 1966 graduating class at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy has no Jewish members.
