A total of $14,020,000 in Israel bonds sales was recorded in the New York metropolitan area in 1963, William Goldfine, Greater New York Israel bonds campaign chairman, told a capacity audience of 18,000 attending the third and final performance at Madison Square Garden tonight of the Chanukah Festival for Israel. The 1962 figure was $11,714,250.
He reported also that the 1963 campaign was the most successful since the drives were inaugurated in New York in 1951. He also announced a 1964 goal of $20,000,000 in sales for the New York area.
