The authorities today released William Ryppel, a Warsaw Zionist attorney who organized yesterday’s abortive “March to Palestine,” and thirteen of his followers. They will be tried soon on charges of forming an illicit organization, illegally wearing uniforms and resisting the police.

The march, in which 150 Jewish youths of 1,000 enrolled originally participated, ended a few hours after it started when a police detachment dispersed it 25 miles out of Warsaw. Fourteen of the marchers suffered injuries when the police charged them with batons upon their refusal to obey repeated orders to turn back to Warsaw. The youths had no passports to Palestine.
