The Orthodox Jewish Home for the Aged announced today it had reached its goal of gifts of $1,000,000 to build a new and more modern structure.
Jacob Jacobson, president, said the timing of the announcement that the goal had been achieved was set for Passover to emphasize that the home was “gaining freedom from the overcrowding and inadequate facilities in the present building.” The new facilities will provide room for 130 residents in an air-conditioned building.
