When French police stormed the Hyper Cacher supermarket last Friday, killing Amedy Coulibaly and ending the hostage situation that left four Jews dead, JTA’s Cnaan Liphshiz was in Paris, reporting from the ground about the latest spasm of violence to strike French Jewry.
In a conference call briefing on Monday, Liphshiz talked with JTA Senior Correspondent Uriel Heilman about the mood among French Jews, the amplified security presence in the country and what French Jews are saying about their future.
