JERUSALEM (JTA) — Three eastern Jerusalem residents were convicted of planning a terror attack on a wedding hall in Jerusalem.

The men, including a former worker at the hall, were convicted on Tuesday in Jerusalem District Court after being arrested last month in a joint operation of the Shin Bet security service and the Israel Police.

According to the indictment, they planned to enter the Nof Yerushalayim hall disguised as guests and shoot the occupants with mini-Uzis, The Jerusalem Post reported. The men, who are Arabs, had purchased the guns from a Palestinian arms dealer and staked out the wedding hall.
