JERUSALEM (JTA) — A Palestinian teen arrested at a West Bank traffic junction said he planned to carry out a terror attack.
The teen was arrested Wednesday after reaching for a concealed knife at the Tapuah Junction. He also had a gun in his possession, Yediot Acharonot reported.
In April, a Palestinian man stabbed to death Eviatar Borovsky, an Israeli father of five from the Itamar settlement, as he waited for a ride at the same traffic junction.
In January, a Palestinian man from Ramallah stabbed a Jewish teenager in the stomach at the junction. Three Palestinians were arrested that same week at the junction carrying seven bombs and a knife; they told police they had planned to carry out a terror attack.
