Ohio man accused of anti-Semitic vandalism on mausoleum

An Ohio man was arrested after allegedly spray-painting anti-Semitic comments on the side of a mausoleum in his state.

NEW YORK (JTA) — An Ohio man was arrested for allegedly spray-painting anti-Semitic comments on the side of a mausoleum in his state.

Slavko Mazibrada, 56, of Akron, is accused of vandalizing Hillside Memorial Park in Springfield Township on the morning of Aug. 2.

According to Springfield Township police, he wrote “GO HOME JEWS EVL Z” and “DEAD JEWS” in black spray-paint on the mausoleum as well as three cemetery statues.

Mazibrada is facing a fifth-degree felony charge of vandalism in light of the $7,000 in damages caused by the vandalism. He was taken to Summit County Jail.
