The latest celebrity to speak out about “Glee” actor Cory Monteith, who died unexpectedly on Saturday at the age of 31, is Jewish actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
Paltrow, who guest-starred on “Glee” as a substitute teacher, released a statement Sunday with condolences for those who worked alongside Monteith on the hit show—especially real-life girlfriend Lea Michele.
“Cory was a sweet and talented man,” she said. “My heart breaks for Lea and the entire “Glee” family.”
