If you want more Lena Dunham, you got it. In fact, you can see 5 of her in a pop-up art performance in Bushwick on June 21st.

The group interested in depicting the many sides and quirks of Lena Dunham go by “Caroll Simmons” and identify as a “pop-up performance collective dedicated to unraveling and exploring the legacy of filmmaker, writer and actor Lena Dunham.” For those who aren’t steadfast Lena fans, Caroll is the first name of Dunham’s father, and Simmons is the last name of Lena’s mother. Creativity!

“Too Many Lenas” conceptualizes the different sides of Lena with each character representing a separate “Lena trait” including: Apologetic Lena, Perfect lena, Self-Depicted Lena, Naked Lena, Urban Lena, and a 6th Lena who serves as a mixed bag of the 5.

David Bernstein, young filmmaker and brainchild of Caroll Simmons, reached out to some friends in January with an idea for a show called “Four Lenas,” and now, we  have 7!
