The beloved Elmo made a special appearance on Fallon and his interaction with guest Andy Samberg was kind of, well, creepy. The two looked at each other funny most of the time, and Samberg made one of his famous awkward faces.
Overall, it just seems like the two just weren’t really fond of one another, despite the fact that Samberg admitted that they look similar in profile (Jewish nose joke! Yay!).
It was pretty awesome to see a different side of Elmo, and who better than Andy Samberg to provoke it.
