Deadline reports that Ben Stiller is working on directing a new film, titled The Mountain and written by Helen Childress, who wrote Reality Bites back in the 90s. That film was directed by Stiller as well (he also played Winona Ryder’s douchy boyfriend).
The interesting thing about this project? It’s a horror film. Deadline describes it as a film that is “set in the early 1900s” and revolves “around a young woman who struggles to confront her destiny after stumbling upon a mysterious object that forces her to examine the secrets of her past.”
Stiller’s new film, Tower Heist, is going to hit the box office early November and feature Eddie Murphy and Matthew Broderick.
