Oh, just KISS and make up, you mid-Eighties rock stars! Gene Simmons went on offense yesterday when TMZ asked him if Madonna was the right choice for the upcoming Superbowl half-time show.
“I love all karaoke singers, I love all the girl singers who get up and sing with tapes,” Simmons sarcastically replies. Ultimately, he says that Madonna is an “inappropriate” choice for the half-time show, but that the decision isn’t up to him.
Honestly, I don’t think this is so bad. Firstly, way for him to humbly admit that his opinion doesn’t really matter here. Also, he does call Madonna “terrific” later on, so as to soften his angry diatribe, making this just about lip synching and not Madge herself.
