At the Global Traveler awards ceremony on Monday night, El Al won first place in the Best International First Class White Wine section of the competition. The wine served by the Israeli airline is Gewrztraminer, produced by the Carmel Winery. Brian Baumgartner, Angela Kinsey and Oscar Nuñez of “The Office” spoke at the event, which kicked off the Global Traveler’s 2012 Charity Auction.
Congrats to El Al for having kickin’ parties up in first class! If only I was able to make it out of coach to celebrate, I would certainly knock back a few Gewrztraminers on the airline’s behalf.
