Max Greenfield, the stud who plays Schmidt in FOX’s “The New Girl,” sat down with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss his Emmy nomination and his SNL-themed Bar Mitzvah.
Greenfield’s mom was the first person he called after he was nominated for a Golden Globe as a Supporting Actor, and when she heard Green was up against Homeland’s Mandy Patinkin, she responded, “your up against Saul?”
Greenfield joked that she probably spit out her Nespresso, a new machine his family got that they were “very excited about.”
He also showed the audience some photos from his SNL-themed Bar Mitzvah, one which showed he adorable he look as a 13-year-old boy in his braces, yarmulka, and tallis… be still, my 12-year-old girl’s heart.
