To the Editor:
One resource that women of other backgrounds raising Jewish children may find helpful is The Mothers Circle, an array of programs designed to educate and support mothers from this population. Since 2006, The Mothers Circle has reached nearly 1,200 women across the United States and Canada, helping them to become more confident and knowledgeable in providing their children with a Jewish upbringing.
Several of the women quoted in this article have been active participants in The Mothers Circle course and listserve. We are very pleased that the JTA has taken note of our work and highlighted the impact that these women have had on their communities.
