Wrapped up the final bits and pieces from my 10 days in Mexico. Two stories went live last night — one about the tentative steps to open up Mexico’s traditionally closed Jewish community, and another about a historical archive with some fascinating documents about Diego Rivera’s connections with Jewish intellectuals, as well as other gems.
I also finished cutting one final video, this one about the various neighborhoods where Jews lived in their 20th century journey up the ladder of Mexican society.
In a few days, it’s off to Europe. Some interesting stories are beginning to take shape, but I’m still open to further suggestions, so drop a line.
