A number of Jewish victims and relatives of gun violence will attend President Obama’s fifth State of the Union address to Congress. More than twenty gun violence victims will attend as guests of various members of Congress, including:

- Gabrielle Giffords, former Arizona congresswoman who was shot in the head at a 2011 rally and has recently been active in gun control discussions while she undergoes rehabilitiation, will be a guest of Sen. John McCain, (R-Ariz.), and Rep. Ron Barber (D-Ariz.).
- Sami Rahamim, whose father, Reuven was killed in a 2012 Minnesota workplace shooting, will attend as a guest if Rep. Keith Ellison (D – Minn.).
- Josh Stepakoff, child survivor of the 1999 North Valley JCC shooting , will attend as a guest of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.).
- Matthew Gross, victim of the Feb. 23, 1997 Empire State Building shooting , will attend as a guest of Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.).
