Adir Vered was not wearing a seatbelt when he stuck his head out a car window last Friday, just before the vehicle crashed into a parked car. Vered, a 17-year-old junior at the New Community Jewish High School, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. According to the Jewish Journal, 1,000 people turned out for his funeral on Sunday.
