Eric Cantor tells CBS’ 60 Minutes the Jewish tendency to vote Democratic has been the "bane of my existence." He’s kidding, a little, I think.
More seriously, he is introspective on the topic, blaming his Republican antecedents in part, for not reaching out to immigrants, and crediting "Tikkun Olam" for what he suggests is the Jewish attachment to preserving entitlements as they are.
He expands on this, offering a Republican take on "Tikkun Olam," letting Americans help the poor through charity, as opposed to taxation.
Here he is, taking the Obama admininstration to task on its Middle East policies, saying the president has sent Israel "mixed signals."
