MJ Rosenberg makes this a learning moment: Just because Scheuer is scathing about AIPAC and other bugbears shared by dovish pro-Israel groups and others who are skeptical of traditional pieties about the U.S.-Israel alliance of doesn’t mean he should be embraced.

As in, sometimes "the enemy of my enemy" is just a putz.

Or as MJ put it:

The more I read the guy I see that he just doesn’t like Jews, Arabs, liberals or foreigners in general. He is a charmless David Duke. (Pat Buchanan is the charming David Duke.)

Less charming than Pat Buchanan. Now, that’s gotta hurt.
