The leader of Chabad in Alaska has lots of good things to say about Republican vice presidential selection Sarah Palin.
Rabbi Yossi Greenberg, while noting that his organization does not endorse candidates, says Palin is a “remarkable, energetic and good person” and notes that she has attended “several of our cultural gala events.”
Greenberg also was “impressed by Governor Palin’s remarks of hope and faith when she gave birth to a child with special needs.” Her words, he observed in a Chabad press release, were “completely aligned with Judaism’s traditional views on embracing the birth of child with special needs as a gift of G-d, no less than is the birth of any baby.”
