(JTA) — Monica Lewinsky reportedly is writing a memoir about her White House affair with President Bill Clinton.

She will get $12 million for the tell-all book, the New York Post reported, citing friends of Lewinsky.

Lewinsky, 39, is out for "revenge," according to the Post.

The newspaper said Lewinsky, who is Jewish, will release love letters that she wrote to Clinton, and provide details about Bill and Hillary Clinton’s private life.

A Lewinsky friend told the Post that despite having a master’s degree, the former White House intern has not been able to find a job because of the affair with the president in the mid- to late 1990s and that “She needs to make money somehow.” Clinton was impeached in 1998 over the affair but remained in office.
