JERUSALEM (JTA) — The Hebrew daily newspaper Maariv will move to only publish in digital form except on Fridays, an Israeli business daily is reporting.
The newspaper will appear online during the week and print an expanded Friday edition, Globes reported Monday, citing unnamed sources. The business daily did not give a date for the change.
Globes also reported that Maariv is putting its printing house up for sale and that its Friday edition will be printed by another newspaper’s printing house.
Maariv, which has a right-of-center bent, has slashed its staff in recent months.
