(JTA) — Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that his country is prepared to offer aid to victims of the violence in Syria as soon as it is asked.
According to a news release from his office, Lieberman said that Israel would offer "all humanitarian aid at any minute it is requested," The Associated Press reported.
Liberman’s comments were made last Friday during an official visit to Bulgaria.
Israel and Syria have fought several wars and do not have formal diplomatic relations.
