JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli airstrikes hit four targets in Gaza in response to rocket fire from the coastal strip that injured an Israeli woman.
Attacks by the Israeli Air Force early Monday morning struck three tunnels between Gaza and Israel, as well as what the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement was a weapons manufacturing facility in the northern Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian man was killed in the attacks, according to the Palestinian media.
On Saturday, a rocket fired from Gaza struck the western Negev, injuring an Israeli woman. On Friday night, a rocket fired from Gaza damaged two homes in the western Negev.
"The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli civilians, and will operate against anyone who uses terror against the State of Israel," the IDF said in a statement.
