JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Air Force bombed two targets in Gaza after a Kassam rocket fired from Gaza struck southern Israel and injured a woman.
The Israeli aircraft struck what it called a terror activity site in northern Gaza and a smuggling tunnel in southern Gaza in an early Tuesday morning raid, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
The raid was in response to a Kassam rocket fired from Gaza at southern Israel on Monday that injured a 50-year-old resident of Hof Ashkelon. Several others were treated for shock.
