JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israeli settlers clashed with Palestinians after Israeli police and soldiers razed several structures at a West Bank outpost.
About 50 masked people blocked roads to the Ramat Migron outpost in the northern West Bank Wednesday to prevent Israeli security officials from following through on the demolition.
The police and soldiers demolished five illegal structures on the outpost.
Following the demolition, Jewish youth reportedly threw stones at the forces and set fire to a field. Jewish and Palestinian youth also threw stones at each other. Four people were injured by pepper spray and stones thrown by Palestinians, Ynet reported. Three Jewish demonstrators were arrested.
Earlier in the day, security forces demolished six illegal structures on a nearby outpost.
