JERUSALEM (JTA) — The death of a woman in a Jerusalem hospital was recorded as Israel’s 10th related to the swine flu.

The woman, 62, spent 10 days in the intensive care unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Though she suffered from other medical conditions, her death Tuesday was recorded as being connected to the swine flu.

Two Israelis died of complications from the swine flu the previous day.

A document prepared to help Israeli hospitals form action plans for the swine flu pandemic predicts that 14,000 Israelis will die from the swine flu this winter, Channel 10 reported Sunday.
