(JTA) — Israel arrested a Palestinian suspected of involvement in several terrorist attacks.
The Israel Defense Forces on Friday said that Nasr Mahmoud Abu Kishk, a member of the Al-Aksa Brigades, Fatah’s armed wing, was involved in a March 2001 shooting in the Jewish settlement of Yitzhar that seriously wounded security officer Gilad Zar, according to media reports.
Kishk is also believed to have killed a Palestinian suspected of collaborating with Israel and been involved in shooting attacks on IDF forces in Nablus. Most recently, the IDF said, he was involved in weapons trafficking and been working with other suspected terrorists in plotting further attacks.
