NEW YORK (JTA) — A Jewish professor at Columbia University received hate mail.
Elizabeth Midlarsky, a professor of psychology and education at Teacher’s College, a division of Columbia, was among several faculty members who received hate mail Tuesday, New York Newsday reported. Three of the envelopes contained drawings of swastikas, while the fourth had a drawing of a noose.
Midlarsky was similarly targeted two years ago when she found a swastika painted on her office door along with three anti-Semitic fliers.
The New York Police Department said its hate crimes task force was investigating.
