WASHINGTON (JTA)–A Chicago Jewish newspaper is included in a collection of newspaper front pages reporting the election of Barack Obama.
The Chicago Jewish News is one of 70 newspapers from around the world whose front page is featured in a new book, President Obama: Election 2008, A Collection of Newspaper Front Pages, published by Andrews & McMeel Publishing and the Poynter Institute.
The book, with a foreword by Doonesbury cartoonist Garry Trudeau, includes the front pages of the New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times, along with leading newspapers in Britain, Japan, Australia and other countries.
The Chicago Jewish News is the only American Jewish newspaper whose front page is featured in the book.
