The Israeli head of Peace Now has been the target of death threats, an Israeli daily reported.
Graffiti reading "Yariv (the pig), your end is near" and "Kahana was right," apparently directed at Peace Now Secretary-General Yariv Oppenheimer, were found on a wall in Tel Aviv Sunday, according to Ynet. Police suspect extreme right-wing activists.
The death threats reported Monday by Yediot Achronot come a month after a pipe bomb attack, also allegedly by right-wing extremists though no one has been arrested in connection with the attack, on outspoken left-wing Professor Ze’ev Sternhell.
