Israel is bracing for a possible earthquake.
The Health Ministry in Jerusalem instructed authorities in northern Israel on Sunday to go over their earthquake emergency drills.
The precaution comes after a series of small tremors in neighboring Lebanon, which have led to concern in Israel that a major earthquake, perhaps measuring as much as 6 on the Richter scale, could be imminent.
Israel straddles the Great Rift Valley, making it especially prone to seismic activity.
